Currently based in New York City, Sarah is from Cincinnati, Ohio, a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and an honors graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music.  Mossman has been hailed for her “outstanding … beautiful soprano voice” (Westlake-Westshore Arts Council) and as “glorious … demonstates a characterization that shines from within” (thestage.co.uk).

Sarah made her West End debut in Till the Clouds Roll By: The Evergreen Songs of Jerome Kern in July of 2014 at the St. James Theatre and returned to London to perform her one woman show, Love Sick, at the Pheasantry this past March.  Since moving to NYC, Sarah has appeared in many cabarets and shows, including the Light Opera of New York’s production of The Only Girl, Apotheosis Opera’s production of Tannhäuser, and multiple cabarets at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre including 99 Problems but a D*ck Ain’t One and Love Sick. She also performed in Gaybraham Lincoln: The Musical in the Thespis Theater Festival and the new musical workshop of Liverpool Trading.

During her years in training, Mossman added many roles to her list of stage credits, including (but not limited to) Cunegonde in Bernstein’s Candide, Miss Crowe in A Man of No Importance, Lucy Schmeeler, Hildy, and Flossie in On the Town, Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites, The Dew Fairy in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Carrie in Roger and Hammerstein’s Carousel, The Plaintiff, Angelina, in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury, the comedic stepsister Noemie in Massenet’s Cendrillon, and Serpetta in Mozart’s La finta giardiniera. It was during this time that Mossman made her professional debut at the College Light Opera Company, singing the roles of Marsha Tenbrock in Sally and Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone.  Additionally, she performed ensemble and comprimario roles in their productions of Ruddigore, The Music Man, Anything Goes, Brigadoon, and many more.

Sarah has won many awards including the Pauline Thesmacher award in vocal achievement at CIM (2013), the NATS first prize in musical theatre (2013), the Cincinnati Overture Award for best vocalist (2009), the Cincinnati Cappie Award for best vocalist in a musical as Marian in The Music Man (2008), and Honorable Mentions in the NATS 2011 Competition and the 2008 NFAA Young Arts Competition.
