Sarah Mossman is elated to be joining The Phantom of the Opera Tour! Currently based in New York City, Sarah is from Cincinnati, Ohio, a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and an honors graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music.  Mossman has been hailed for her “outstanding … beautiful soprano voice” (Westlake-Westshore Arts Council) and as “glorious … demonstates a characterization that shines from within” (thestage.co.uk).

Sarah made her West End debut in Till the Clouds Roll By: The Evergreen Songs of Jerome Kern in July of 2014 at the St. James Theatre and returned to London to perform her one woman show, Love Sick, at the Pheasantry this past March.  Since moving to NYC, Sarah has appeared in many cabarets and shows, including the Light Opera of New York’s production of The Only Girl, Apotheosis Opera’s production of Tannhäuser, and multiple cabarets at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre including 99 Problems but a D*ck Ain’t One and Love Sick. She also performed in Gaybraham Lincoln: The Musical in the Thespis Theater Festival and the new musical workshop of Liverpool Trading.

During her years in training, Mossman added many roles to her list of stage credits, including (but not limited to) Cunegonde in Bernstein’s Candide, Miss Crowe in A Man of No Importance, Lucy Schmeeler, Hildy, and Flossie in On the Town, Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites, The Dew Fairy in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Carrie in Roger and Hammerstein’s Carousel, The Plaintiff, Angelina, in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury, the comedic stepsister Noemie in Massenet’s Cendrillon, and Serpetta in Mozart’s La finta giardiniera. It was during this time that Mossman made her professional debut at the College Light Opera Company, singing the roles of Marsha Tenbrock in Sally and Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone.  Additionally, she performed ensemble and comprimario roles in their productions of Ruddigore, The Music Man, Anything Goes, Brigadoon, and many more.

Sarah has won many awards including the Pauline Thesmacher award in vocal achievement at CIM (2013), the NATS first prize in musical theatre (2013), the Cincinnati Overture Award for best vocalist (2009), the Cincinnati Cappie Award for best vocalist in a musical as Marian in The Music Man (2008), and Honorable Mentions in the NATS 2011 Competition and the 2008 NFAA Young Arts Competition.

Sarah could not be happier to be a part of The Phantom of the Opera, the first show she ever saw on Broadway. Sarah wants to thank her family and friends for all their love and support over the year as she has chased her dreams!

Shane has appeared in Flashdance the Musical, Susan Stroman’s Merry Widow at The Metropolitan Opera, Rock the Ballet/Bad Boys of Dance, The Bad Boys of Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal, Pacific Northwest Ballet, River North Chicago Dance Company and as a Principal guest artist for various companies around the world. Shane trained in Dance/Musical Theater at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts and Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle.
Commercial work includes appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Dos Equis Adverts, GQ Magazine and runway shows for Commonwealth Utilities and Armani Exchange.

Shane has created choreography for New York Fashion Week designers The Blonds, L’Officiel Hommes Video, numerous competitive dance pieces, stage plays and musical reviews.

Shane’s mission is to expand his performing career, educate emerging artists, produce creative choreography, and direct movement that pushes boundaries for Dance and Musical Theater.

Abigail is a New York City native. She received training at the School of American Ballet where she danced numerous children’s roles with New York City Ballet and New York City Opera where she had the pleasure of performing the “Little Girl” in 110 in the Shade with Susan Stroman choreography. Ms. Mentzer danced as a Soloist with the Pennsylvania Ballet for 11 years. In that time she performed many works by world renowned choreographers including the Pas de Quatre in Christopher Wheeldon’s Swan Lake, Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun and “Hermia” in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Movie credits include Corps de Ballet dancer in Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan. Ms. Mentzer was named Pointe Magazine’s “Very Impressive Performer” in 2008. Ally is ecstatic to be making her National Tour debut with Phantom! She trained at New Jersey School of Ballet under the direction of Carolyn Clark, George Tomal, Paul McRae and Carolyn Tener Brown. After receiving her BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she performed for Brenda Neville, Karole Armitage (Guggenheim Museum) and was featured in a Batsheva piece at Springboard Dance Montreal. Professional credits include Clara in Nutcracker (Paper Mill Playhouse), La Bayadere with the Kirov Ballet (Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center), and Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Tynan is deeply grateful to be making her national tour debut with this exciting production of The Phantom of the Opera. She has performed with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Caramoor, Opera San Antonio, Austin Lyric Opera, Opera Birmingham, Opera Company of Middlebury, Odyssey Opera, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, San Antonio Symphony, Rapides Symphony, and Brooklyn Philharmonic. Other favorite gigs include a month-long tour with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and a brief moment on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” as an operatic zombie.

Sarah is originally from Morgantown, WV and is thrilled to join The Phantom of the Opera tour! She holds a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College where she was privileged to work with many talented choreographers, including Edwaard Liang, Stephen Petronio and Doug Varone. Upon graduation, Sarah was awarded the Gold Key for excellence in ballet. Professional credits include: Can-Can (Paper Mill Playhouse), Radio City Christmas Spectacular, The Metropolitan Opera’s Khovanshchina, and Tokyo Disney’s Encore! as the featured pas de deux. He received his BFA in Modern Dance Performance from the University of Oklahoma.  In 2014, he received his Masters in Information Technology – Cyber Security from Florida Institute of Technology.  Adryan was a principal dancer with The Philadelphia Dance Company, affectionately known as Philadanco!

Tara, a Kansas City native, is classically trained in both ballet and voice, having studied with The Kansas City Ballet, Ballet School of Chicago, American Ballet Theatre, Milwaukee Ballet, North Carolina School of the Arts with Melissa Hayden and the Music Arts Institute. Favorite credits include: Spamalot (2nd National Tour), The Phantom of the Opera (European Tour), Hello, Dolly! (Dance Captain), Guys & Dolls (Havana Specialty), Steel Pier (Precious McGuire), Children of Eden (Yonah) and Cats (Rumpleteazer).
